INVESTMENT: Jay has been investing, developing, and managing investment real estate since 1984. Product types have included: self-storage, hotels, apartments, multifamily tax credit development, condo conversions and land entitlement. He has invested directly and with sponsors in a variety of real estate projects in with an aggregate value over $350 million.

ADVISORY: Jay & the advisory team provide his clients with a broad range of services including investment sales, debt and equity financing, leasing, and advisory. Earlier in his career, Jay spent 20 years with CBRE in the multi-housing group. As a Vice Chairman he was actively involved in the sale and financing assignments of more than 400 transactions including over 76,000 multifamily units with an aggregate value in excess of $10 billion.

INNOVATION

Current initiative with Major Southeastern US University to set up an "innovation monetization" for profit entity bridging the university R&D with commercial deployment, think tank and venture capital.

CITIZENSHIP
Jay proudly serves on the Board of Directors of Miami Children's Hospital. Founded in 1950 Miami Children's Hospital is South Florida's only licensed free-standing specialty hospital exclusively for children with several specialty programs. The hospital is ranked among the best in the nation according to a special medical report published by US News & World Report in their 2011-12 rankings.
